On Monday, December 15, Motorola introduced the Edge 70 smartphone and thereby lifted the veil on the expansion of its Edge series in India. The latest smartphone is equipped with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, making the device the first ultra-thin phone in the world to use this state-of-the-art platform. It promises an excellent user experience of being more intelligent, more instinctive and even more fluent with its integrations of Moto AI 2.0, Copilot, Google Gemini, and Perplexity.
Price, Configuration & Availability
The Motorola Edge 70 is made available in a configuration of 8GB RAM plus 256GB storage, with a price tag of Rs. 29,999. The additional Rs. 1,000 bank discount is available for the customers, making it Rs. 28,999 at launch price. The smartphone will be up for grabs from 23 December 2025 on Flipkart, Motorola’s official site, and top retail outlets across India.
Design & Build
Weighing only 159 grams and having a thickness of just 5.99mm, the Edge 70 is the slimmest phone ever made by Motorola. Aluminum of the aircraft-grade is used to make it, thus, giving the device both a luxury and sturdy character. The color palette consists of three shades selected by Pantone—Bronze Green, Lily Pad, and Gadget Grey—all with a finish that looks and feels like fabric.

The device in question has a vapor cooling chamber for the most sophisticated performance, a wide area of 5G bands, and two Dolby Atmos stereo speakers. It is equipped with a security system based on ThinkShield, which guarantees the protection of data and user privacy.
